Pitch your tent in rural seclusion on one of only 4 grass tent pitches dotted amongst the 100 apple trees in our idyllic Cambridgeshire orchard.  We keep the pitch areas and pathways mown but allow the rest of the orchard to become a meadow.

We provide:

- Grass pitch approximately 5m x 10m. The maximum tent width we can accommodate is 5 metres due to the space between the rows of trees. Pitches can accommodate up to two 2-man tents. Larger tents will need a pitch each.

- Fire pit with wire rack for cooking on the campfire

- Shared shower, compost toilet and kitchenette facilities (see more details here)

- Eco-friendly shower gel, shampoo, soap and washing-up liquid. Only biodegradable products must be used in our drainage system.

Parking is in a grass field adjacent to the orchard.  This is a short walk of approximately 30 metres to the nearest pitch or 150 metres to the furthest.  Large wheelbarrows are provided to transport your belongings to your accommodation.  No parking or vehicle access is allowed in the orchard itself.

Electrical hook-up is not available but phones can be charged in the Apple Hut shared facilities building.

Cost

Adult £13 / Teen (13-17 yrs) £9 / Child (2-12 yrs) £7 per night

Group bookings: Groups of friends or families with up to 6 adults plus children up to a maximum group size of 12 are very welcome to book.  We are such a small site and we hope this helps to create a peaceful and friendly atmosphere for all our guests. If your group of 12 doesn't exactly fit into this description please contact us. For larger groups we are able to offer exclusive hire of the orchard.

Is there anything I can't bring?

Sorry, no dogs or other pets. Please contact us if you wish to bring an assistance dog. Please ask permission before inviting guests that are not staying on the site. Our pitches are also not suitable for camper vans, or tents wider than 5 metres in their shortest dimension (due to the apple trees!). Strictly no drones please, due to livestock and our airstrip these can be extremely dangerous.

What can I buy on the farm?

Firewood and kindling, apple juice from our orchard, free-range grass-fed beef burgers from our own animals, local cider.
