Our 16ft yurt was handcrafted on the farm from ash poles, steam bent in the traditional way.  Inside there is a groundsheet with a coir mat carpet and ‘rag rugs’ over the top, a small chest of drawers, a battery powered lantern and a wood-burning stove with fireguard.

There is a king size bed with mattress protector and fitted sheet, along with 3 fold-up foam ‘bed mats’ for additional guests.  You will need to bring your own bedding, pillows and either duvets or sleeping bags.

We recommend you bring sleeping bags for guests using the fold-up bed mats but if you choose to bring duvets/blankets, please remember to also bring a sheet to go over the bed mat.  The yurt can accommodate up to 5 people, either a maximum of 4 adults or a combination of adults and children.

Outside there are straw bales to seat 5, a fire pit with brick surround and a wire rack for cooking over the fire.

Parking is in a grass field adjacent to the orchard.  This is a short walk of approximately 60 metres to the yurt.  Wheelbarrows are provided to transport your belongings to your accommodation.

Please note that only certified biodegradable shampoo and shower gel (e.g. Faith In Nature or Lush) is suitable for use in the shower – this is available in travel-size bottles on-site.

£72 per night

Group bookings: Groups of friends or families with up to 6 adults (plus children) are very welcome to book.  We are such a small site and we hope this helps to create a peaceful and friendly atmosphere for all our guests. If your group is larger than this then we are able to offer exclusive hire of the orchard, please contact us for more details.

Is there anything I can't bring?

Sorry, we can't accommodate pets.

What can I buy on the farm?

Firewood and kindling, organic apple juice from our orchard and zero-waste apple juice ice lollies.
