Our 16ft Tipi is our ‘no frills’ option.  The spacious interior has a  cosy feel and can accommodate up to 4 people.  There is a groundsheet with a coir mat carpet on top. The tipi will sleep up to 4 adults, but is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children.

We provide 4 fold-out foam ‘bed mats’.  You will need to bring your own bedding; pillows, a sheet and either duvet/sleeping bags.

Outside there is seating for 4, a fire-pit with brick surround and a wire rack for cooking over the fire.

Parking is in a grass field adjacent to the orchard.  This is a short walk of approximately 50 metres to the Tipi.  Wheelbarrows are provided to transport your belongings to your accommodation.

£50 per night

NB: The door of the tipi is quite low and narrow – access requires kneeling or crouching.

Please note that only certified biodegradable shampoo and shower gel (e.g. Faith In Nature or Lush) is suitable for use in the shower – this is available in travel-size bottles on-site.

Group bookings: Groups of friends or families with up to 6 adults (plus children) are very welcome to book.  We are such a small site and we hope this helps to create a peaceful and friendly atmosphere for all our guests. If your group is larger than this then we are able to offer exclusive hire of the orchard, please contact us for more details.

What’s provided?

We provide futon-style sleeping mattresses, your own fire pit outside, and access to shared facilities. The tipi has a rain cap. Bedding is not provided – please bring your own pillows, duvets and sheets or sleeping bags.

Is there anything I can't bring?

Sorry, we can't accommodate pets.

What can I buy on the farm?

Firewood and kindling, organic beef (sorry, only joints available now - we can pack these in an insulated box for you to take home), apple juice from our organic orchard and apple juice ice lollies.
