When we took over the farm we knew there were Barn Owls roosting in our big barn so we named it 'Owl Barn'. We made and installed a Barn Owl box and hoped for the best.

Well Peter Wilkinson from the Barn Owl Trust visited today (4th July '08) to inspect the box and we have 3 chicks !

We have 1 male and 2 females of various ages, the heaviest is 430g and the smallest 388g. all are fit and well.
